Reduced registration fees are available for students attending the conference and those presenting papers are eligible for awards in the student category.
In addition a scholarship has been established to make attendance possible for students who might not otherwise be able to attend.
Participating students are encouraged to present papers, but not required to do so. We feel that hearing other papers and interacting with curious people wanting to learn about their heritage is an excellent learning experience for all.
If you know of a deserving middle school, high school or college student who would like to attend the conference, please forward contact information to the Board.
A more formal scholarship application process will be in place for the 2011 conference.
